We will have treats and a bathroom for any little ones that need a potty break.
For parents and those who have nieces, nephews, grandchildren, neighbors and more, the schedule for Sunday morning looks like this:
10:30AM: worship begins, all children present. Opening prayer, one hymn, scripture reading, and children’s message all take place with children to receive and participate.
10:45AM: Children follow Kim or other teachers downstairs to the one Sunday School room. There they will find two tables, one for younger children, and one for our bigger kids, where each will receive a lesson geared toward their learning level.
It is our hope that the children will be awakened to the gracious love of God and felt called to pass that on.
Our church is hosting a Music Showcase for elementary, middle, and high school students on Sunday, February 12, 2017 at 3:00 PM. The purpose of the Music Showcase is to provide incentive and recognition to talented, motivated students who will perform their piece of music in a public formal setting. The church is seeking vocalists and instrumentalists to perform a solo selection of their choice. Continue reading “2017 Music Showcase”
Flemington United Methodist Church, in cooperation with the Hunterdon County Council for Young Children is hosting “Fun Zone,” a wintertime play group for children aged 2 through 10 each Saturday from January 14 through March 18.
Get the kids out of the house and come in from the cold for some FREE play time, right on Main Street in historic Flemington! Reconnect with friends, make new friends, and break the winter boredom.
The play center is located in the church’s Fellowship Hall. The entrance is located on Maple Avenue, across the street from Flemington Public Library. The Fun Zone is not a drop off center, parents are asked to stay and relax nearby to watch, or get in on the fun!
