Pastor Ben Lee
Pastor Ben Lee came to Flemington UMC in July 2017, excited about the possibilities of a strong church community in the heart of Main Street. His passion, approachability, and enthusiasm are contagious, and all are deeply rooted in living, sustaining faith. Under his leadership, he and the church plan to reach out and bless the community with youth and family ministries, spirit-filled worship, diverse musical offerings, lifelong learning opportunities, and connections to our local and global community.
Pastor Ben holds a B.A. in English with a focus on creative writing from the School of Arts and Sciences at Rutgers – New Brunswick and a M. Div. from Drew Theological School. He is also a veteran of the US Air Force where he served as a meteorologist, as well as the National Park Service where he worked as a historical interpreter at Thomas Edison National Historical Park and other historical sites. He has lots of stories to tell but prefers to listen. He is a reader, writer, cook, drummer, bad golfer, father, husband, and disciple of Jesus Christ.
